After a HUGE kale harvest from their plot, Rosebank Primary decided to make some kale chips back at school, which we hear were delicious!

Dens Road began transferring compost onto their plot this morning. It took almost 2 hours to do and everyone had a great time doing it
12 tonnes of compost was delivered to Every1’s garden on Friday. Our Ladys primary were the first of the schools to begin covering their plot.

This afternoon St Peter and Pauls planted some beautiful miniature fruit trees in their school grounds. There is 1 apple and 1 cherry, keep an eye out for them in the front playground! 🙂
Rosebank made a fabulous St Paddy’s day wreath from willow branches, ribbon and the classes hand prints. They also planted some peas and found lots of mini beasts.
St Peter and Paul primary school have lovely rainbow planters in their playground, this afternoon we planted strawberry plants and put in signs so everyone knows what’s growing in them.
Darren from Dens Road P.S made a excellent potting mix of coconut coir and sand this morning. Then we planted mint cuttings in DIY greenhouses made from recycled plastic bottles.
