Family Creative Gardening Workshops

Each week families can sign up to our Monday workshops in the garden (under our wooden gazebo) where we combine growing food with creative skills and processes.

Some things we have made: block printed tote bags, sleepy herb pillows, wonky wigwams, flower arrangents, linoprinting with nature, surprise boxes, butterfly people collaging, nature journey sticks, bird feeders, mocktails, nature mobiles, nature weaving,  garden labels and sign making, miniponds, natural dye making, sun prints, seed collection and haiku packets and of course the classic wreaths but in all seasons!

All ages are welcome but activities are designed for children over 5 and parents or grandparents to work together to create something inspired or using seasonal and sustainable resources from nature.

Participants explore and learn about growing, identifying new plants and their uses, wildlife whilst using their hands and imagination to make their own toys, resources for the garden or art work.
